Pterostilbene is an antifungal active ingredient in dried blood products. It belongs to polyhydroxystilbene and is a homolog of resveratrol. In addition to having some pharmacological effects similar to resveratrol, pterostilbene also has strong antifungal activity (its antifungal activity is five times that of Resveratrol).。
